Over six days, travelers trek along the sacred Kailash Kora, crossing the challenging Dolma La Pass (5,650 m), while visiting ancient monasteries and serene landscapes. Day Wise Itinerary

  • Arrive at Lhasa / Kathmandu and take flight/road to Shigatse/Nyalam.

  • Drive to Lake Manasarovar (~4,590 m).

  • Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse near Lake Manasarovar.

  • Activities: Acclimatization, Lake sightseeing, evening prayers.

  • Morning sightseeing of Lake Manasarovar & Rakshas Tal (optional).

  • Drive or trek to Chiu Gompa / starting point of Kailash trek.

  • Short acclimatization trek (~3–5 km).

  • Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse.

  • Begin trek toward Dirapuk, approaching the northern base of Mount Kailash.

  • Distance: ~10–12 km (moderate climb).

  • Overnight: Camp.

  • Highlights: Views of Kailash, monasteries, and surrounding valleys.

  • Early start to cross Dolma La Pass (5,650 m) — the highest point of the Kora.

  • Descend to Zuthulphuk.

  • Distance: ~15–18 km (challenging, high altitude).

  • Overnight: Camp.

  • Highlights: Spectacular views, spiritual rituals along the Kora.

  • Trek ~8–10 km back to Darchen.

  • Rest & optional local sightseeing.

  • Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse.

  • Drive back to Shigatse / Lhasa.

  • Departure by flight or onward travel to Nepal/other destinations.

Inclusions

  • Accommodation: 5 nights in tents / guesthouses (depending on route)

  • All meals during trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
