Adi Kailash, also called Chhota Kailash, is a sacred Himalayan peak located in Uttarakhand, India, near the Indo-Tibet border. It is considered a holy abode of Lord Shiva and is famous for Om Parvat, where the snow naturally forms the sacred “ॐ” symbol. The yatra offers a blend of spiritual pilgrimage and moderate trekking, passing through picturesque villages, rivers, and high-altitude Himalayan landscapes. Pilgrims and trekkers visit mainly between May and October, as winter snowfall makes the route inaccessible. The journey is moderately challenging and requires basic acclimatisation.
