Day Wise Itinerary
Arrive at Lhasa / Kathmandu and take flight/road to Shigatse/Nyalam.
Drive to Lake Manasarovar (~4,590 m).
Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse near Lake Manasarovar.
Activities: Acclimatization, Lake sightseeing, evening prayers.
Morning sightseeing of Lake Manasarovar & Rakshas Tal (optional).
Drive or trek to Chiu Gompa / starting point of Kailash trek.
Short acclimatization trek (~3–5 km).
Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse.
Begin trek toward Dirapuk, approaching the northern base of Mount Kailash.
Distance: ~10–12 km (moderate climb).
Overnight: Camp.
Highlights: Views of Kailash, monasteries, and surrounding valleys.
Early start to cross Dolma La Pass (5,650 m) — the highest point of the Kora.
Descend to Zuthulphuk.
Distance: ~15–18 km (challenging, high altitude).
Overnight: Camp.
Highlights: Spectacular views, spiritual rituals along the Kora.
Trek ~8–10 km back to Darchen.
Rest & optional local sightseeing.
Overnight: Camp / Guesthouse.
Drive back to Shigatse / Lhasa.
Departure by flight or onward travel to Nepal/other destinations.
